Jola Naibi

Writer and amateur photog. I seek to inspire and inform with the words I write and share and the photos I take. I have written a book of short stories: Terra Cotta Beauty, and I am working on a lot more. Reading and writing fuel my energy. In reading, I explore this vast and diverse world, in writing, I employ my over-active imagination and address the 'what-if' questions that life often throws at us.

Welcome to 2016!!!

“We will open the book. It’s pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.”

Dear everyone,
Welcome to 2016! I am looking forward to doing new and interesting things this year and most importantly trying as much as possible not to let L-I-F-E get in the way of my writing and blogging. I am already in the middle of writing my first full length novel and I am really excited about that to follow on my debut with Terra Cotta Beauty which (quel surprise!) was very well received when it was published in 2014. In 2016, I will be entering into my 10th year of being on blogging and being on blogger. I find that so hard to believe. I remember it was a bold step for me to go out publicly as a ‘writer’ and it has been and continues to be a marvelous journey. I am kicking off the New Year on a positive note and will be starting a 40 days of Inspiration series: starting today and for the next 40 days look for some clever, inspiring, soul-searching photo quotes on the blog.
I wish you and yours a wonderful and fulfilling 2016 filled with wild and wonderful adventures and extraordinary opportunities for you to shine.
