The Unbroken Life of Louis Zamperini (1917-2014)

By on July 11, 2014

In 2010, Lauren Hillenbrand wrote the book Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption, it tells the story of Louis Zamperini who sadly passed away on July 2, 2014, but lived an unimaginable life as an Olympic star athlete who survived a plane crash in the Pacific ocean and would spend over two years living in Japanese prisoner of war camps. That story, has now been made into a movie (directed by Angelina Jolie), scheduled for a US release on December 25, 2014. Judging by the trailer, the movie is guaranteed to captivate audiences and provide inspiration for many in our broken world.
