Jola Naibi

Writer and amateur photog. I seek to inspire and inform with the words I write and share and the photos I take. I have written a book of short stories: Terra Cotta Beauty, and I am working on a lot more. Reading and writing fuel my energy. In reading, I explore this vast and diverse world, in writing, I employ my over-active imagination and address the 'what-if' questions that life often throws at us.

The Red Ball Project

By on August 23, 2012

Whoever thought a red ball could travel so far? The Red Ball Project is the brainchild of artist Kurt Peschke. It started in Chicago’s Jay Prizker Pavillion and has since graced distant shores Taipei, Abu Dhabi, London, Norwich, Barcelona, Toronto.

What is it? Well, simply put, it is a ball. A red ball. A 15 foot-wide vinyl ball which might soon be bouncing to your city. Fans get a chance to suggest where they would like to see the ball and the artist listens. According to him: In that moment, the person is not a spectator but a participant in the act of imagination
