You Know You’re Nigerian If…

By on September 17, 2007

I have been spending more time than I usually do on Naija-themed websites, these days and one of the many things I found interesting and somewhat amusing is the lists that specify things that are peculiar to us Nigerians…in some cases it is broken down by tribe – You Know You’re Yoruba if…etc.

I have one to add to the list – You know you’re Naija, if you know what an agbalumo is.

Agbalumos also play a more or less central role in the story which appears in La Racontrice this month – it is called The Agbalumo Challenge
