What is your favorite movie?

By on June 7, 2007

I had not realized what a difficult question it was until I tried to respond myself. The American Film Institute is asking everyone (including people who are in the movies) what their favorite movie is. Click here to participate and here get a peek at what some of the people in the movies say their favorite movie is.

Back to the question…it took a lot thinking and I ended up settling for a tie between two movies – Ti Oluwa Ni Ile and the movie adaptation of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird. I went online and voted for Ti Oluwa Ni Ile because To Kill a Mockingbird already had almost a dozen votes

Thanks for the head’s up … Although I adore To Kill a Mockingbird, I voted for Fernando Meirelles’ “City of God,” simply a stunning film

@ Omodudu – Crash was an excellent movies as was Babel.
@Reel Fanatic – I haven’t see that one but read about it…I need to go and look for it
@laspapi – Too many to choose from I know. It is a difficult question to answer – do you choose the movies that make you laugh, cry, think, etc. I also like Shawshank Redemption
