Summer 2007 Movies I

By on May 25, 2007

One of the highlights of the summer season in the US is the movie releases and this year we get to see the third installments of Shrek, SpiderMan and The Pirates…in my opinion once you start getting to Part 3 of a movie it gets progressively worse although for some reason I am looking forward to seeing Shrek 3…I can wait until it comes out on DVD whenever it does.

Starting this week, the blog will be featuring a rundown of newly (or about-to-be) released movies for the summer.

Here’s the first installment – the movies to be released on May 25

Golden Door starring Vincenzo Amato and Charlotte Gainsbourg directed by Martin Scorsese

Paprika animated movie directed by Satoshi Kon

Ten Canoes directed by Rolf de Heer (WARNING – The preview contains nudity which some may find offensive)

    @TPI – Thanks for stopping

    @Omosewa – I know the animated movie seems kind of weird to me too…I mean I would watch a Disney Movie but this one is a bit too graphic for me. I also think you made a good choice with the Scorsese movie…hope you had a great weekend!
