Mr A –There’s no argument there…there are more women than men in the world that is why polygamy can never go out of fashion

Mr B – Are you saying that the ratio of men to women allows for polygamy to thrive?

Mr A – Yes ke! I mean by the time a woman is pushing 30 and she does not have any man lined up to marry her…she had better start looking at another woman’s husband if she knows what is good for her and provided he is interested…the rest is history

Mr B – So you would not have any problem if your daughter married a married man and became a second wife

Mr A (looking offended) – C’mon let’s be serious…my daughter is too sensible for that!!!

This was overheard at a party to celebrate Mr A’s daughter’s graduation. Mr A is an educated man with several years experience working in the professional world. Earlier in the evening Mr A had knocked back a few shots of Hennessy…I personally don’t think the Hennessy in his system had any thing to do with the views he expressed, unless there is empirical evidence to confirm that consumption of Hennessy leads to narrow-mindedness.

    It just a mentality thing.

I know of a woman who has 3 sons and a daughter. She popnosed into her sons marriage, creating instability until she got them to marry second wives. She says, women can not be controlled without competition.

On the hand, she is her daughter’s husband’s best friend….

@Kiibaati – Whoa! Now that is just so wrong on so many levels…but you know what…I blame the sons at this point…are they so spineless that they let their mother control their family life. Thanks for stopping by
